FOX has been known for its cutting-edge programming and excellent sports coverage for decades. From hit comedies to Sunday NFL action, FOX is home to a ton of great entertainment. And now, even if you don’t have cable TV, it’s possible to watch FOX online!

Thanks to new streaming services, you can now watch FOX live stream and on demand at a fraction of the price of cable TV and with no contract required. You can also enjoy FOX streaming on the go on all your favorite devices so you never have to miss a moment.

With so many options to watch FOX online, as well as over-the-air, you never have to pay for cable again. Let’s take a look at them in this FOX live stream guide.

Watch FOX Online with Sling TV

Sling TV is one of the best ways to watch FOX online. They have just recently added the FOX stream to the channel selection on their “Sling Blue” package. For $25 a month, you can get access to Sling TV, which gives you the option to enjoy a FOX live stream and 40+ other channels!

One thing to keep in mind is that right now, FOX stream is available live in select markets. If you live the following areas, you can watch FOX live stream on Sling TV:

Atlanta, Georgia; Austin, Texas; Charlotte, N.C.; Chicago, Illinois; Dallas, Texas; Detroit, Michigan; Gainesville, Fla.; Houston, Texas; Los Angeles; Minneapolis; New York; Orlando; Philadelphia; Phoenix; San Francisco; Tampa, Fla; and Washington D.C.

This is great news for NFL fans in these markets who want to keep up with Sunday afternoon football action! Also great for those who want to watch the MLB Playoffs online, including the World Series live stream.

If you do not live in one of these areas, you can still watch FOX TV shows (not sporting events) on-demand using Sling, but live viewing is restricted.

With Sling TV, you can watch FOX on Apple TV, Roku, Chromecast, etc. and on smart TVs, computers, and mobile devices. And speaking of Roku, you can actually get one for free when you prepay for three months of Sling TV. More of an Apple guy/gal? You can choose to go with a hefty discount on an Apple TV, if you prefer.

Watch FOX Over the Air with Antenna and DVR

But since FOX is a broadcast network you should be able to receive it with the help of a good digital antenna. Availability will depend on your location within the local broadcast range. We recommend several different good antennas in our comparison guide.

Of course, broadcast TV has its own set of challenges. Maybe you don’t want to have to be tied to the TV schedule. A digital DVR might be just the ticket. We love the Tablo which functions like a DVR and allows you to record shows on broadcast TV. But an added benefit of the Tablo is that you can also stream from it to any connected devices to watch FOX live streaming on the go.

Use Hulu to Watch FOX Episodes Online

If you want access to almost all of FOX’s offerings and are willing to pay a small fee, a service like Hulu will give you everything that you’re looking for and more. Does Last Man on Earth crack you up? Stream FOX current episodes the day after they air with pay TV authentication or just 8 days after without authentication with Hulu. FOX is also home to a lot of our favorite comedies, including The Simpsons and Bob’s Burgers, and guilty-pleasure genre shows like Sleepy Hollow, along with smash-hit programming like American Idol, MasterChefBrooklyn Nine-Nine, Scream Queens, and Empire.

A subscription to Hulu is only $7.99 a month and you can cancel at any time. You will also have access to other broadcast network programming like NBC, The CW, and ABC. You can even add Showtime for an additional $8.99 per month. Hulu is also offering a commercial free option for $11.99 but their regular package still gets limited advertising. Give it a try with the free trial and see for yourself.

Get a FOX Live Stream with PlayStation Vue

PlayStation Vue is a new option that will also give you access to FOX live stream and more live streaming cable channels for prices starting at $29.99-$39.99 per month depending on your location. The basic package includes FOX and 50+ other great cable channels, so there’s always plenty to watch!

With Vue, you can watch FOX on Roku, Chromecast, PS3/PS4, and a few other devices. However, Vue isn’t available on Apple TV at this time, so that’s not an option for those Apple junkies who want to stream FOX without cable. It’s also worth pointing out that Vue does have some mobile streaming restrictions that can block you from watching live TV on your phone or tablet if you aren’t on your home internet connection.

Watch FOX Online through the Website and App

FOX is one of many networks that offers an online only streaming service, but there is a catch. You can watch FOX online with the app or on your computer without a cable login, but the access to shows is limited. Often, it will only have the most recent episodes from the season. However, the app is available for free and can be accessed online or over devices such as Roku. And if you have a cable login, you can get a good deal of content.
